Nikolas Wereszczyński is a Polish artist living in London. His work is influenced by his Slavic culture and heritage. It focuses on the natural beauty of the indigenous verdure, the spirituality of the people, and the relationship created between them. His work is also greatly inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration, as well as Ukiyo-e, namely the prints and the techniques employed to create them, and folklore. He uses symbolism in tandem with these elements to create a sense of beauty, wonder and serenity in his works. He enjoys working with a varied media, those of which include; acrylic painting, gouache, linocut printing and pen and ink. He has been exhibited at; the University of East London End of Year exhibition in 2017, the University of East London Auction from 2017 to 2019, the Lush Store Bromley in August 2020 and the Autumn Salon exhibition at the Candid Arts Trust in October 2020.
